This is the story of two unusual fiddles, one belonging to John Rae, the other made of tin. Both are currently on display at Stromness Museum.
With beautiful photography by Rebecca Marr, this book charts the restoration of and performance of two historic musical instruments from the collection of Stromness Museum, Orkney.
Written contributions are from Julian Branscombe, Tom Muir, Janette Park, Mark Shiner, Catherine Turnball, Len Wilson and Jennifer Wrigley.
