These earrings are inspired by a whalebone figurine found at Skara Brae, Orkney in the 1860's. 

A262: The Skara Brae Buddo - Neolithic (2900 -2400 BC). Height 95mm.  

Earrings created by Mark Newton and the silver elements by Sheila Fleet. The Buddo earrings are approximately 25mm tall x 18mm wide x 14mm deep.

Buddo (Budd-oh) is on permanent display at Stromness Museum.
